Lane & Waterman Obtains Substantial Settlement for Crash Victim
Lane & Waterman trial lawyer, Rand S. Wonio, recently concluded a $1,500,000 complex settlement of a lawsuit the firm filed on behalf of a client who was seriously injured in a June, 2006 highway crash. The victim’s van was struck by a milk tanker truck in Dubuque County, Iowa. The settlement occurred on the eve of trial. The milk hauling company’s insurer paid its $1,000,000 coverage limit, the company paid $400,000 from its own assets and underinsured motorists insurance paid the final $100,000.
