The firm's senior real estate partner, David Dettmann, and partner Catherine Hult have been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America in the field of real estate law.  David Dettmann is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, which includes only 14 attorneys in Iowa.  He is also recognized in Chambers USA and Who's Who in American Lawyers.

 

Lane & Waterman attorneys participate in and have taken leadership roles in the Real Estate Section of the Iowa State Bar Association and Iowa State Bar Association Title Standards Committee.  Also, a Lane & Waterman attorney has served on the five-member Board of the Title Guaranty Division of the Iowa Finance Authority, which controls and directs Iowa Title Guaranty policies and practices.
